Spiritual Intelligence in Christ: A Mark of Divine Maturity

One remarkable characteristic of spiritually intelligent people in Christ is their access to divine mysteries through revelation. These individuals, however, speak sparingly in the outside world unless divinely permitted to do so. This is because not all mysteries are meant to be revealed to everyone.

Some mysteries are time-bound, destined to be unveiled only at an appointed season, while others are meant to remain sealed forever.
For example, in the book of Revelation, John was commanded to seal up the words spoken by the seven thunders and not write them down (Revelation 10:4).

On the other hand, a person who speaks carelessly and excessively without guarding their words demonstrates a lack of spiritual intelligence. Being spiritually intelligent in Christ requires prudence: knowing when to speak, what to speak, and when to refrain from speaking altogether.

Spiritually intelligent individuals understand that their words carry divine weight. They are cautious, knowing that the few words they speak are anointed and full of wisdom, imparting grace and intelligence to those sensitive to the Spirit.

Let us pursue this spiritual intelligence in Christ, where our words reflect the wisdom and maturity befitting our calling as sons and daughters of God.
